Eclectus Parrot Feeding And Facts

Eclectus Parrot
Not endangered, however, in earlier years many nesting sites were destroyed by poachers taking young birds from the nest. This practice has been to a large degree stopped with greater surveillance by the authorities and large fines for those caught. It was originally believed that there were two different varieties of Eclectus Parrot, a red and a green. It was some time before it was realized that they were male and female.
Consequently, they had great difficulty In breeding them.
