Bulbul
Red-whiskered Bulbul: An introduced species breeding in one area of southeastern Florida. In gardens, parkland, and shrubberies. Nest in a shrub, small tree, or creeper, usually in a twig fork, 2-8 ft up.
Bulbul Nest: A shallow cup of fine twigs, dead leaves, and needles (from Casuarina), bound with spiders' webs, and incorporating a variety of papery debris (such as Malaleuca bark). Lined with tine rootlets and grass, sometimes with hair.
Bulbul Breeding season: Bulbul Breeding Season Begins early February and ends early August. Probably double-brooded.
Eggs: Usually 3, sometimes 2-4 Subelliptical to short subelliptical Smooth and glossy.Bulbul Eggs Ground color pale gray or tinted pink or purplish; speckled, spotted, or blotched with purplish-red, chestnut-red, or darker purple, and with paler lilac markings.Markings often profuse and fine; sometimes with a heavier zone around the often profuse and fine sometimes with a heavier zone around the larger end .23x16 mm.
Bulbul Incubation Period: By both sexes. 12-14 days.
