How to Know Lovebird is Male or Female

You can not tell the difference between male and female visually and also it is not true that males are more beautiful than females.
One of the most easier way is to locate their pelvic bones which is located at the base of the tail.But this technique only works on the lovebirds.And you will be able to know the sex by this way when the bird is 4 months old.
Using your first finger touch the base of the tail, you will feel that there are two bones here if these bones are so much apart that your finger may go between them than it is a female and if these bones are very closer to each other then it is a male.
