Mallard Duck: Breeds near any type of fresh water, in a variety of habitats, though may be far from water.Mallard Nest usually in cover on the ground, among tall vegetation, grasses, bushes, etc., and on small islands: or in raised sites in tree crotches or holes, in old nests of large birds, on buildings and ruins.
