African Grey Parrot Facts Habitat And Behavior

Occurrence:
African Grey Parrots found in the primary and secondary rain forests of West and Central Africa.However it also kept as pets in all over the world.
Habitat:
They live in dense lowland rain forests and areas of open fores and spend most of their time at the top of the trees.
Behavior: 
It is referred as most intelligent bird in the world.At evening, flying home they gather at their roosting sites, usually at the top of the tall trees.African's grey fly fast with rapid wingsbeat. During flight they make a lot of noise. They also use tools like small piece of wood for feather preening.
They are famous for imitating the human sound also they can imitate the voice of breaking of door. 
Breeding:
African grays breed from July to January in their tropical range, reflecting the dry to wet seasons. Female lays about 2-3 eggs and hatch them and after 3-4 months the chicks fledge.
Feeding:
African Grey Parrot eat palm nuts, seeds, fruits, and leafy matter, but have also been observed eating snails.
