Lovebirds Breeding Seasons And Breeding Tips

Lovebird Breeding Information

Health:
For breeding lovebirds should be healthier, normal and have an age between 1 to 5 years.
Nesting:
They need a nest for breeding so that they can lay their eggs there. It should have a size of 12''x12''x12'' having an entrance hole of 3'' diameter.Proper nesting material should also be provided. 
Nutrition:

Egg Laying:
Female will lay their eggs between 5-12 days after mating.Number of eggs will be 3 to 7 and female will lay an egg daily.
Incubation Period:
Usually incubation period is about 23 days and may vary 2 days up or less.Start counting the days when female sits on the eggs because sometimes she may not start incubating until all the eggs been laid.
Care:
Some lovebirds need to be handfed or by their mother until they are 6 to 8 weeks old.
