Breeds on grassland, and the borders of scrub and cultivation.Nest on the ground in tall grasses or growing crops or in the base of hedgerows or shrubs, or young trees: very rarely above ground in stacks.
Grey Partridge diet: Plant material, insects, green leaves of grasses, grain and weed seeds, cereals and clover.
